Recreational Campfire Permit Procedure

Effective July 1, 2011 all recreational fire permit requests must be done in writing to the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection.  Please include:

1.  Your Name

2.  Your Address

3.  Location or address of the campfire

4.  Your Phone Number

5.  State if you had a permit before

6.  State what dates and times are needed

Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with your application. 

Applications and the self-addressed stamped envelope should be mailed to:

Allow 7 to 10 days for the processing of your application.
