Bulletin:   Now responding to ambulance calls within the Township!

During October Fire Safety Month, members of the LTFD provide instruction in fire safety to children in Township's schools.  Here are some photos of children ages 3 to 5 during their special day with the firefighters.

The children learned about "Stop Drop & Roll", that their homes should have working Smoke Alarms, when the smoke alarms goes off - Get out & Stay out of the House, have an Evacuation Plan and a family meeting place outside their home, what a firefighter wears to protect them from fire, and finally, what the inside of a fire engine looks like. 

Each student received a Junior Firefighter helmet, curtsey of the fire department.
